ROCK AND ROLL ALL NITE

Schockrocker. Gab es am Wochenende bei mir rein zufällig auch. Aber nur mit nostalgischem Einschlag:

„Our show had no talking,“ Gene remembers. „Just bang-bang-bang, song-song-song and off the stage. We didn’t have any effects at the time. We just did a lot of ménage à trois kind of stuff. I’d put one leg out, and Ace (who barely knew the changes) would kind of wrap around my leg an Paul would get in back of Ace, and we’d all move around, back and forth. And remember, this was in the days when nobody except Alice Cooper moved. All rock bands stood still. …

I remember seeing Christopher Lee as Dracula in one of the Hammer films, Blood of Dracula or Horror of Dracula. I’ll never forget when he bit into something and his mouth was covered with blood. I thought, that’s cool, I should do that onstage. Why? Why do boys stick frogs up girls‘ skirts? Because they squeal and that’s fun.“
